Indian Trail EventsAn art series focused on retelling stories of our elders through art making.
We are honoring the elders in our lives with this art series focused on listening and retelling their stories through artmaking. This session is focused on portraits. Young artists may choose to draw from memory, bring in a photo to replicate, or if their elder can join them for a sitting while they create their portrait. At the end, artists may share their portrait and the story tied into why they made it.
This program is intended for kids ages 9-18, and 5-8 with an adult.
Join us January 22-28 for Library Learning Week! Learn a new skill, find a new hobby, work your entrepreneurial muscles, and build community! This week is all about learning something new so that you can be your best self.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
We strive to make events welcoming for people of all abilities. To request accommodations (i.e. hearing assistance, ASL requests, or other ADA inquiries), call the library at 509-444-5340.
