Teacher and historian Ty Brown will talk about his research into the history of his family and the Wandermere Golf Course, the business founded in 1930 by his great-grandparents.
West Valley High School teacher and community historian, Ty Brown, will talk about his research into the history of his family and the Wandermere Golf Course, the business was founded in 1930 by his great-grandparents. The history of Wandermere involves much of Spokane’s early history. From its humble beginnings as Spokane pioneer Francis H. Cook’s family farm, to a wilderness escape for the “city folk” of the growing city, to the year-round playground and to the golf course that it is today, Ty Brown will share the story of this beautiful place.
