Hear directly from the candidates running for Spokane City Council's 3rd district.
Join us for an insightful evening of civic discussion at Shadle Park Library, in partnership with the League of Women Voters. As part of a series of forums across the city, this event is dedicated to introducing the candidates running for the City Council seat in District 3 for the 2023 general election.
Candidates will have the opportunity to present their visions for Spokane followed by a moderated discussion and an audience Q&A.
Our moderator will be Spokane Public Library's own Leonard Kransdorf. Leonard currently serves as a library clerical assistant, but his former career was as a journalist, working and writing at newspapers from Florida to North Dakota. He has experience both interviewing candidates as well as moderating similar candidate forums.
Being informed is key to making confident decisions at the ballot box. This forum provides a platform for candidates to share their perspectives and plans, while also allowing the community to gain a deeper understanding of their potential representatives.
While this is one of several forums taking place in various districts, each event is tailored to the unique concerns and interests of its respective district. We encourage residents District 3 to attend, engage, and make their voices heard.
Come be a part of this vital civic engagement process and connect with the individuals aiming to shape the future of our city.
