A two-hour writing workshop with celebrated author Sarah Conover addressing the tender terrain of grief.
Please join Sarah Conover for a two-hour writing workshop addressing the tender terrain of grief. Grief has a life of its own—sometimes hidden, sometimes numb, sometimes raw and painful. Writing uses a part of the brain that is offline in our day-to-day activities, but when accessed can allow grief to discover its own voice, to be better understood and metabolized in our lives. Sarah will introduce some overall theories for trauma/grief-informed writing, offer prompts to generate your words, and provide a safe container for personal exploration during the workshop and in the future.
By attending library programs, you are agreeing to potentially appear in photos/videos taken at our locations that may be used in promotional materials including social media.
