Learn about SpokaneScape from Conservation Program Manager, Kristen Zimmer, and Landscape Architect, Cathy Spokas! SpokaneScape is a type of landscaping that can beautify your property, protect our natural resources and the environment; and will inevitably reduce yard maintenance. SpokaneScape focuses on the replacement of lawns with drought-tolerant plants that will bring color, beauty, and our wild friends to your yard. Even better, you can qualify for a city water rebate for doing it!
This is a multi-part series presented by the City of Spokane Water Department in their ongoing water conservation education efforts.
