Kids will learn about the physics of balance and have fun at the same time! We'll have multiple hands-on activities. Children should be accompanied by a caregiver to assist in the learning.
Balance occurs when weight is evenly distributed so that an object remains upright or steady. We'll learn about the scientific principles related to balance - stability, center of mass, and balancing points, through hands-on activities. These activities range from playing with balancing toys, to creating balancing sculptures, to balancing using our bodies. Watch your kids learn about an elemental physics principle and have fun at the same time!
This event is age appropriate for preschoolers through Grade 5.
