We'll read about bread and make bread-in-a-bag together! See full description for supplies list. Registration is required for this private Zoom event. Registration closes 24 hours before the event.
We'll read a book about bread and make bread dough together! Caregivers will need to be involved to help with measuring and minimizing the mess. While geared to preschoolers, older children are welcome to join too.
You'll need these supplies: 1 gallon-sized resealable plastic bag, 3 cups flour (all-purpose is fine, bread flour if you have it), 1/4 cup sugar, 1 packet yeast (rapid rise or regular), 1 cup warm water, 1/4 cup melted butter, and 1 teaspoon salt (this can be to taste).
You'll be putting your bread in a pan in the oven at the end of the Zoom meeting, bake, and enjoy it afterward, so allow time to bake the bread for about 25 minutes.
Register to participate and you will receive an email with a link with instructions on how to participate before the event. Only one registration per family/computer is necessary.
Technology requirements: You will need a device or computer with an internet connection and the Chrome browser, microphone and speakers to participate.
