Shadle Park EventsOvercome writing block with a YALSA award-winning writer. This event is part of the 2nd Annual Lilac City Book Festival.
Do you have a desire to write but feel blocked before you even open your laptop? Or, are you excellent at starting, but hit a wall when the excitement of the beginning wears off? In this workshop, we’ll explore the many sources of resistance for writers, and how to overcome them. You’ll leave with a better sense of how to switch hats and effectively tackle each phase of a project: from idea generation, to drafting, revision, to querying and marketing.
This event is part of the 2nd annual Lilac City Book Festival.
The Lilac City Book Festival is a yearly event to support local writers and illustrators of books for children and teenagers. It's organized by Spokane Public Library and presented in partnership with the local chapter of the Society for Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI).
