EWU Associate Professor of Sociology, Kassahun Kebede, shares his mission to improve literacy in Ethiopia, one child, book, and library at a time.
The journey from rural Ethiopia to Cheney, Washington, was a long one for Kassahun Kebede, but he made it through the power of books and sheer determination. Now an associate professor, he is committed to improving the lives of Ethiopian children by providing them with access to books and libraries. In this talk, he will share his efforts to bring literacy and education to Ethiopia’s future generations.
