A writing workshop with visiting award-winning poet Erica Reid.
Guided by poems from Kaveh Akbar, Wendy Videlock, A. E. Stallings, Danez Smith, and more, this class examines the ways that the repetition of a single word can have a cumulative and explosive effect on a poem.
About the presenter:
Erica Reid’s debut collection Ghost Man on Second won the 2023 Donald Justice Poetry Prize and was published by Autumn House Press in early 2024. Erica’s poems appear in Rattle, Cherry Tree, Birmingham Poetry Review, Colorado Review, and more.
