Learn how storytelling can help you design and create meaningful landscapes with Registered Landscape Architect Bob Scarfo!
Storytelling is a people-centric approach to landscape design based on how most of us learned to read, write, and tell stories. You'll glean three main messages about this approach:
This approach was developed over a 35-year period in an effort to greatly reduce the angst and anxiety that often accompanies learning how to develop landscape designs. The use of storytelling is a valid approach to design a meaningful landscape. By expressing the design guidelines through landscape components, the characteristics of the story are mirrored in the landscape. What story does your garden tell?
